Faith Sanders Ferrell

OXFORD Mrs. Faith Sanders Ferrell, 72, of Oxford, died on Saturday, May 11, 2013.Mrs. Ferrell was born in Anson County to the late James Frank Sanders and Jessie Horne Sanders. She was of the Baptist faith and loved fishing and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman Ferrell; son, Ricky Ferrell; daughter, Jeanette Ferrell; brothers, Bobby, Franklin and Mark Sanders and a sister, Mary Williams.She is survived by her daughter, Gail Kokoruda and husband, Tommy; three brothers, Jack Sanders, Bill Sanders and Erie Sanders; three sisters, Louise Fletcher, Patricia Holder and Rachel Carden; four grandchildren, Ricky Ferrell, Timmy Ferrell, Joey Kokoruda, Ashley Kokoruda and 4 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Roger Wall. Interment will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers Wesley Holder, Richard Williams, Walter Holder, John Sanders, Jr., Tony Skipper and Chris Horne. Honorary pallbearer will be J. T. Ferrell.The family will receive friends on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at 5112 Skylane Drive in Durham.
