Florence Vine

MURRELLS INLET, SC- Mrs. Florence Vine, 94, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at the Embrace Hospice Home.
Mrs. Vine was born May 22, 1925 to the late Harry and Lena Levine in Brooklyn, NY. She moved to Chapel Hill, NC in 1947. Mrs. Vine loved volunteering and charity work. She loved cooking and playing golf. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Vine is preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Dr. Lou Vine; parents, Harry and Lena Vine; son, Jimmy Vine.
Mrs. Vine is survived by her daughters, Joan Vine and Sandra Vine; sister, Barbara Pedersen; grandson, Jacob Denham and many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at Judea Reform Congregation Cemetery. Officiating will be Rabbi John Friedman.
