Frances Christine Prince Cash

DURHAM Frances Christine Prince Cash passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Carver Living Center. She was the daughter of the late Thee Offie Prince and Rita Lorbacher Prince. She is also predeceased by her husband, William Boone Cash. She retired from Sperry Rand after working 33 years in the computer technical field. She attended Rose of Sharon Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and cooking.

She is survived by a son, William “Wayne” Cash and wife Vicky of Mebane; a daughter, Judy Hayes of Durham; and a brother, Excell Prince also of Durham. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Sandy, Brooke, Karen, Christy, Russell, and Megan; 12 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren. She leaves behind 3 special friends: Miss Ida Brown; Lib Garza; Nita Ketner; and her dog, Abbey.

Funeral services will be held at Rose of Sharon Baptist Church on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 2:00 pm, Rev. Jeffrey McCarthy officiating. Pallbearers will be Dylan Lascallette, Cole Lascallete, Kevin Lascallette, Ricky Glasgow, Jai Garza, and Russell Hayes.

The family will receive friends at Hudson Funeral Home on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm and at other times at the home of Megan Nicholson, 1417 Kirkwood Drive.
