Mrs. Frances Pulliam Parrish, 77, of 2829 Ellis Road, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014.
Mrs. Parrish was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late James William Henderson Pulliam and Lanie Rhew Pulliam. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved reading, writing and collecting antiques. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Cleveland Parrish; brothers, Leroy Pulliam, Lonnie Ross Pulliam and Ronald Pulliam; three sisters, Bertha Marie Pulliam, Catherine Wilson and Doris Elizabeth Pulliam.
She is survived by her two sons, Tommy Lee Parrish and wife, Gwendolyn of Myrtle Beach and Timmy Parrish of Durham; sisters, Goldie Lee Brady of Durham and Joyce Parrish and husband, Wayne of Greensboro; grandchildren, Hannah Nicole Parrish, Hayley Parrish, Amber Lynn Parrish and Taylor Renee Parrish.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Steve Mitchell will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 2829 Ellis Road.
