DURHAM Mrs. Frances Lee Turner Burrage, 86, of Durham, died on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Mrs. Burrage was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Walter Nicholas Turner and Mary Carden Turner. She worked for many years as a Receptionist at Dr. VanFleet’s Dental Office. She attended Grove Park Chapel. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Wayne R. Burrage, sisters, Catherine McCloud and Margaret Tippett and great-granddaughter, Taylar Burrage.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Monroe Burrage, son, Jerry M Burrage of N. Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren, Jennifer Capps and Kelly Young both of Durham, Todd Burrage of Florida; great-children, Morgan Capps and Hunter Burrage.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Carlisle Boykin will officiate. Visitation will be held at the cemetery from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences may be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
