Francis “Frank” Xavier Weber

DURHAM- Mr. Francis “Frank” Xavier Weber, 87, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019.

Mr. Weber was born November 20, 1931 to Francis and Clara Weber in Detroit, MI. Frank retired from IBM after 35 years and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Radio Operator during the Korean Conflict. Frank loved cars and tinkering in his workshop. He liked football and always enjoyed watching a great game. Mr. Weber enjoyed gardening and reading.

Mr. Weber is preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Clara Weber; brother, Bernard Weber.

Mr. Weber is survived by his wife of 50 years, Joan Weber; sons, Frank Weber, Kevin Weber, Darin Weber; daughters, Karen Palaia, Linda Steinfeld, Beth McGee; brothers, Jack Weber, Raymond Weber; sister, Maryanne Kenner; grandchildren, Ashlyn Weber, Ethan Weber, Sarah Weber, Jacob Steinfeld, Adelaide Steinfeld, Michael Palaia, Ricky Palaia, Matthew McGee, Christopher McGee, and Patrick McGee.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at St. Matthews Catholic Church, 1001 Mason Road, Durham, NC 27712. Officiating will be Father Thanh Nguyen.
