Frank Banning Pendergraph

HILLSBOROUGH Mr. Frank Banning Pendergraph, 79, of Hillsborough, died on Saturday, January 30, 2016.
Mr. Pendergraph was born in Orange County, son of the late Joseph Bunn Pendergraph and Ada Whitted Pendergraph. He served in the NC National Guard and retired after 26 years with the N. C. Department of Transportation, as a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon and enjoyed playing Dartball. He loved the Lord and his family and was an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammy P. Brooks and several sisters and brothers.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Ramona Salmon Pendergraph; daughter, Deborah P. Heffner of Graham; one sister, Julia Morris of Durham; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Sunday and Monday at the home, 6718 Ebenezer Church Road, Hillsborough, NC 27278. There are no services planned at this time.
