SHERRON, JR.DURHAM Mr. Fred Geer “Redman” Sherron, Jr., 63, of Durham, died on Monday, July 19, 2010.Mr. Sherron was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Fred Geer Sherron, Sr. and Mozelle Browning Sherron. He was a graduate of Northern High School. He was a former employee of the City of Durham. Redman was an avid racecar fan. He was preceded in death by his sister, Linda S. Matney.He is survived by his son, Brian Burrell Lacey.A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hudson Funeral Home, PO Box 11158, Durham, NC 27703 for funeral expenses.
