Frederick Fabean

DURHAM Mr. Frederick Fabean, 77, of Durham, died on Sunday, July 22, 2012.Mr. Fabean was born in Pittsburgh, Pa., to the late Julius and Anna Obid Fabean. He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict and retired from the U. S. Army National Guard. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church for 38 years, and served as a Deacon. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Joanne Fabean; two sons, Fred A. Fabean and wife, Lorie of Timberlake and Matthew Fabean and wife, Kristy of Durham; two daughters, Paula Currin and husband, Brandon of Hillsborough and Samantha Davis of Durham; 9 grandchildren, Carrie Ferguson and husband, Newton, Nicholas Keith, Brooke Fabean, Dylan Fabean, Micah Fabean, Kaylee Fabean, Sawyer Currin, Sophie Currin and Amelia Currin; 2 great-grandchildren, Bailey Ferguson and Cameron Ferguson. He is also survived by 4 sisters and 4 brothers.Funeral services with Military Honors will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Rick Finley. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
