DURHAM-Mr. Gary Wayne Crawford, 53, of Durham died on Sunday, May 5, 2013. He was the son of the late Carlon Crawford. He loved fishing and was an avid Duke Basketball fan. He attended Cornerstone Community Church. He is survived by his mother, Louise D. Crawford, two sons, Bradford James Crawford and Christopher Blake Crawford both of Durham; two brothers, Carlon Crawford, Jr. and John Crawford, two sisters, Rita Crawford and Lynn Shields.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Phil Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of his mother, 701 Lindley Dr., Durham.
