Geoffrey George Morris

MORRISVILLE-Mr. Geoffrey George Morris, 62, of Morrisville, NC passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Mr. Morris was born June 26, 1954 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to the late Harold and Amelia Morris. He has been in the Triangle Area for over 20 years and was a member of Henderson Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Geoffrey was a fishing fanatic and an avid sports fan loving baseball first, hockey then football. Geoffrey is known and will be remembered for his courage, strength and never gave up, he truly fought hard for so many years. He will be remembered as a Godly man who loved the Lord, and was a supportive and faithful husband who will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have known him.

Mr. Morris is survived by his loving wife of 5 years Tumika Morris; brothers, Michael Morris and wife Jeanne and Dennis Morris and wife Meg and nieces, Amy and Kathleen.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, June 30, 2017 at Henderson Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2806 Page Rd., Morrisville, NC 27560. Officiating will be Rev. Johnnie Bethea. The family will receive friends from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
