DURHAM- Mr. George Harrison Williams, Sr., 76, of Durham died on Saturday, August 11, 2012. He was the son of the late Harvey Benjamin Williams and Juanita Lanier Williams. He served in the U.S. Army. He retired from Southeastern Freight Lines as a truck driver, also a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife of 52 years Vivian Parham Williams, two sons, George Harrison Williams, Jr. and wife Meredith of Orange Co. and Benjamin Lewis Williams and wife Carisa of Creedmoor; one daughter, Alicia Anne Williams of Durham; one sister Jackie Willis of Rock Hill, S.C. Eight grandchildren, Logan Williams, Landen Williams, Tyler Tankard, Briley Tankard, Cody Hall, Evan Williams, Anderson Williams and Peyton Williams. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Durham Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Ed Denton and Dr. Gerald Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 911 Allister Rd.
