Georgia Louise Wester “Teny” Moss

DURHAM Mrs. Georgia Louise Wester “Teny” Moss, 91, of Durham, died on Saturday, April 26, 2014.
Mrs. Moss was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late George William Wester and Lily Florence Strickland Wester. She worked for the American Tobacco Company for 18 years and retired after 30 years from AATCC as Office Manager. She was owner of the Sweet and Pretty Shop, directed weddings and hosted many holiday family gatherings. She was a member of Page Road Baptist Church and attended the Primetimers at Bethesda Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas “Tom” Moss.
She is survived by her son, Timothy William Moss and daughter, Lynette Moss both of Durham.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Hugh O’Shields will officiate. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in the Elmwood Cemetery on Hillsborough St., Oxford NC 27656. Active pallbearers will be Paul Moss, Creighton Moss, Taz Blackley, Kevin Blackley, John Potts and Lou Giannattasio
The family will receive friends on Monday, from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to service at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home.
