Gerald Wayne Johnson

DURHAM Mr. Gerald Wayne Johnson, 72, of Durham, died on Saturday, December 17, 2016.
Mr. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Dwight Wellons Johnson and Lyda Clairene Johnson. He was owner of AAA Piano Service. He loved music and mostly Gospel Music and was an original member of the Spokesman Quartet. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Warner Johnson, Dwight Wellons Johnson, Jr. and a sister, Barbara Brock. He was loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Morris Johnson; daughter, Deborah Christie and husband, Ron of Durham; grandchild, Cameron Christie; sister, Rebecca Ragan and multiple nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 21,2016 at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Glen Brock will officiate.
