Gertrude Beasley Ange

Gertrude Beasley Ange, 95, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at Carteret Health Care in Morehead City, NC.  She was born on February 8, 1928 in Ocean View, VA to the late Morris and Leonard Beasley.

Mrs. Ange was a cashier for Verizon for over 25 years.  She loved her Lord and Saviour and was a longtime and faithful member at Liberty Baptist Church in Durham, NC, Roxboro Baptist Church in Roxboro, NC and Community Baptist Church in Newport, NC.  Gertrude enjoyed cross stitching, cooking and sharing her creations with her family and friends.  She will be remembered as a faithful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be deeply missed by everyone blessed to have known her and loved her.

Gertrude is preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 61 years, Curtis Ange; son, Theodore Ange; daughter, Marea A. Wilson and 3 sisters.

Mrs. Ange is survived by her son, Anthony “Tony” Ange and his fiancé Debra Vick; granddaughter, Marea Allison “Alli” Ange; great grandson Trenton Shaw Ange and numerous other loving family members and friends.

A graveside will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, March 20, 2023, at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens with Pastor Billy Knox officiating.
