Gladys Stallings Young

Gladys Stallings Young, 93, passed away on January 3, 2025, in Eno Pointe Assisted Living.

Mrs. Young was born July 20, 1931, to the late Mable Ray and Clarence Marco Stallings in Durham, NC. She worked as an Accountant in the Hotel Industry before retiring.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Young is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd L. Young; Brother Marco “Everett” Stallings and Sister, Jean Stallings Neri.

Gladys is survived by Brother, Gordon Stallings (Billie Jean); Sisters-in-law Tina Morgan and Deborah Young (Landis) and Special Nephew David Edwards Stallings (Marilyn), Nephew Buddy Stallings as well as other nieces and nephews.

On Monday, January 13, 2025, a Visitation will be held at 1:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. The Burial will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park.

Officiating will be Rev. Nathan Orendane.

Pallbearers are Rob Young, David Stallings, Tyler Parker and Chuck Davis.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made in Mrs. Young’s memory to a favorite Veterans support group of your choice.
