DURHAM Mrs. Goldie Lee Pulliam Brady, 84, a former resident of Durham, died on Tuesday, October 28, 2014. She had been living in Creedmoor with her daughter.
Mrs. Brady was the daughter of the late James and Lonie Rhew Pullium. She was a retired seamstress with General Motors. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Manford Brady and granddaughter, Michelle Brown.
She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Brown and husband, Paul of Creedmoor and Yvonne Brady of Southfield, Mich.; stepson, Allen Brady and wife, Phyllis of Siler City; sister, Joyce Parrish and husband, Wayne of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Kevin Brown and wife, Leslie, James Lee, Lisa Annette O’Connor and Rodney Brady and wife, Angela; four great-grandchildren, Savannah Brown, Alyssa Brown, Caine Lee and Zac O’Connor
The family will also receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home of her daughter, Nancy Brown, 1617 Pope Rd in Creedmoor.
The family will receive friends also on Friday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 5946 Pleasant Grove Church Road in Bennett, N.C., followed by funeral services at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
