Helen Allen Ennis

Helen Meirl Allen Ennis, 87, passed away February 17, 2022, at home.

Mrs. Ennis was born April 10, 1934, to the late Daniel and Livvie Allen in Johnston County.  She lived in Durham most of her life and was a member of RTP Community Church, also in Durham.  She loved God, her family, working with flowers and fishing.  Helen worked as a CNA and thought of her job as a ministry.

In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Gattis Ennis and her son, Wayne Ennis.

Mrs. Ennis is survived by her daughter, Peggy House (Tim) of Timberlake; daughter-in-law, Sharon Ennis; grandchildren Anthony House (Jamie) and Stephanie Fox; great grandson, Dylan Fox and great granddaughter, McKenzie Fox.

Flowers are acceptable.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 1:00 pm at RTP Community Church, 1727 Ed Cook Road, Durham, NC.
