DURHAM Mrs. Helen McNeal Harmon, 63, of 3215 Wake Forest Hwy, died on Tuesday, December 20, 2011.Mrs. Harmon was born in Denver, Colorado. She was employed with the Durham Public Schools, where she was a substitute teacher at Merrick Moore Elementary School. She enjoyed going to Auctions. She was preceded in death by her father, Doyle P. McNeal and a brother, Bob McNeal.She is survived by her husband, David L. Harmon; her mother, Janie Lou Darling; two daughters, Donna Ann Dominguez of Durham and Kimberly Jill Harmon of Creedmoor; one brother, Kelley McNeal of Cincinnati, Oh; four sisters, Barbara Howard of Ft. Myers, Fla., Bonita Imhoff of Baton Rouge, La., Donna Hackworth and Debbie McNeal both of Cincinnati, Oh.; two grandchildren, Ashley Harmon Dorthy of Roxboro and Kalei Dominguez of Durham.A chapel memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel.The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
