Helen “Pat” Ashley Duke

DURHAM- Helen “Pat” Ashley Duke, 73, of Durham died on Friday, April 18, 2014. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the daughter of the late Luther Ashley and Ruby Ellis Ashley. She adored her patients at Hillcrest where she was a CNA for 30 years,  loved her granddaughter Miranda, she also loved flowers and her yard.  She was preceded in death by her husband Bruce Duke, a daughter Joanne Duke and a son William Bruce Duke.

She is survived by one son, Randy Duke of Durham, two sisters, Margaret Morgan of Apex and Becky Russell of Morrisville, one granddaughter, Miranda Duke.

Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Hugh O’Shields will officiate.
