EVANS, SR.ROUGEMONT Mr. Henry Wesley Evans, Sr., 70 of 1122 Hunters Circle, died on Monday, November 1, 2010.Mr. Evans was a native resident of Durham, the son of the late Vernon Arthur Evans and Bertha Carol Evans. He was of The Faith Free Will Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Green.He is survived by his wife Beulah Evans, son, Wesley Evans and wife, Lisa of Durham; two daughters, Deborah Ortega and husband, Pedro of Carrboro and Anne Evans of Rougemont; two brothers, Benny and Billy Evans both of Durham; one sister, Anne Boone of Knotts Island, N.C. and two grandchildren, Ryan and Wesley Evans.Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Willie Teachey. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Benny Evans, Pedro Ortega, Nate Runion, Roger Evans, Tommy Flynn, Ronnie Boone and Ronald Boone. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.Flowers are acceptable.
