Hrang Ci

DURHAM- Mr. Hrang Ci, 84, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Duke University Medical Center.
Mr. Ci was born in Burma on April 2, 1933. As a young boy, he was great soccer goalie. He was a Farmer for many years and a devout Christian. Mr. Ci loved to read the bible and pray daily. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Mr. Ci is preceded in death by his wife, Fam Men Tial; parents, Than Khuah and No Men; daughter, Run Nei Hai; brother, Vai Lian.
Mr. Ci is survived by his sons, Thang Lian Cuang (Lal Dawn Kim), Lal Hlung Eng (Biak Rem Tial), Lal Sawi Vul (Ngun Kil); daughters, Lal Thang Mawi, Lal Hlim Pui, Jerusalem Ngai Zual (Van Thawng UK); grandchildren, Gideon Thuam, Naomi Mawi, Damaris, Josiah, Van Bawi UK, Lal Cawi Sang, Ram Din Thar, Van Nun Mawi, Van Cer Sin Par, Lal Biak Thang, L.D. Lian, Lal Hruai Thang, Lal Din Muan, Lal Rin Sang, Ring Lian, and other loving family members.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday April 22, 2017 at Gospel Baptist Church 2100 Chapel Hill Road, Durham, NC 27707. A visitation will be held an hour prior from 12-1 p.m. Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. at South Granville Memorial Gardens.
