Youngsville- Jackie Diane Holt Morris, 59, of Youngsville died on Friday, September 7, 2012 She was the daughter of the late Paul Lee Holt, Sr. and Rosa Jenkins Holt. Mrs. Morris was a teacher for 13 years at Glenn School Elementary, she was also previously active in the V.A. Public Relations. She is survived by her husband Steve Morris of the home, one daughter, Angi Downey Fowler of Youngsville; one brother, Paul Lee Holt, Jr. of Oxford; one half-sister, Sylvia Lee Holt of MS; one granddaughter, Kayla Nicole Fowler and beloved canine “Smooch”.Graveside services will be held on Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Rev. Tim Wheeler will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Lou Wheeler, Todd Wheeler, Wayne Baker,Sr., Wayne Baker, Jr., Donnie Tart and Chris Holt.The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
