James Edgar ““B.B.“” Hall

BUTNER Mr. James Edgar “B.B.” Hall, Sr., 71, of Butner, died on Friday, July 01, 2016.
Mr. Hall was born in Franklin County, the son of the late John Branch Hall, Sr. and Edna Mealti Lancaster Hall. He served in the U. S. Army. Mr. Hall was a truck driver for Roses and later was the Administrator for Oak Haven Rest Home. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church and attended the Auditorium Sunday School Class. He loved fishing and enjoyed restoring old Chevy trucks.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kearney Hall; two sons, James Edgar Hall, Jr. and wife, Wendy and John Michael Hall; one daughter, Teresa Hall Luedtke and husband, A.J.; brother, John Branch Hall, Jr. and wife, Pat; sisters, Mary S. Smith and husband, P.H., Gale H. Maske and Dale H. Faulkner; four grandchildren, Sharon M. Hall, Samuel A. Hall, Sean Luedtke and Leah E. Luedtke.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 6th at 11 a.m. at Bible Baptist Church, followed by a graveside committal at 2:30 p.m. at Redbud Baptist Church Cemetery, 832 NC Hwy 58, Castalia NC 27816. Rev. Greg Allison and Rev. Dan Hill will officiate. Pallbearers will be John Smith, Chris Maske, Mark Maske, Jerome Faulkner, Keith Steven and Stephen Hall. Honorary pallbearers will be Rex Murphy, Ted Gupton, Russell Richard and Wesley Holder.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church and other times at the home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a college fund for James’s grandson. The address to donate to this fund is www.jamesehall.net.
