James Ferrell

MORRISVILLE Mr. James Otis Ferrell, 85 of 3216 Page Rd. died on Saturday, December 25, 2010. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham.He was the son of the late James Alfred Ferrell and Emma Dillard Ferrell. Her served in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Liggett & Myers after 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith. He really enjoyed bowling and his bowling buddies! He’s the best Dad and Granddad!He is survived by his wife; Ruth W. Ferrell of Morrisville, son; Earl & wife Pat of Morrisville, daughter; Gloria Ferrell and husband Johnnie of Durham. Grandchildren; Angie and John Ferguson, Timmy Ferrell, Ashley Ferrell, Amy and Stephen Ybarra. Great grandchildren; Gracie Ferguson, Mattie Ferguson, Haley Ferrell, Jack Ybarra. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Phillip Adams will officiate.The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00, 1 hour prior to service at Hudson Funeral Home, other times at 3216 Page Road, Morrisville.
