James (Jimmy) Utley

DURHAM- Mr. James Haywood Utley, 72, of 708 Hazelwood Dr. died on Sunday, September 25. 2011. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Foster Utley and Texie Poe Utley. He retired from University Ford as a mechanic. He was preceded in death by his brother Walter Lee Utley.He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Carolyn Holsonback Utley, one brother, Herbert E. Utley (Wife) Neely of Hillsborough.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Doug Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home. Flowers acceptable.
