Janice Ennis Ellis

STEM- Ms. Janice Ennis Ellis, 71, passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at her home.Ms. Ellis was born July 29, 1947 to the late Onzlo and Nettie Ennis in Durham, NC. She was a very giving person and would help anyone with anything she could. Ms. Ellis was a strong woman who raised two children by herself. She was always available if you ever needed her. Ms. Ellis loved shag dancing and taught shagging for several years. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister.Ms. Ellis is preceded in death by her parents, Onzlo and Nettie Ennis; brother, Jerry Long; sister, Linda Whitt.Ms. Ellis is survived by her son, Billy Ray Lloyd, Jr. (Wendy) of Rougemont, NC; daughter, Lisa Marie Lloyd of Sumter, SC; brothers, Bennett “Butch” Ennis of Stem, NC, David N. Ennis (Smitty) of Durham, NC; sister, Brenda Marselais (Ronn) of Sumter, SC; grandchildren, Zachary Lloyd, Caitlyn Lloyd, Ashley Lyons, Taylor Bradshaw; great-grandchildren, Noah Lyons and Paisley Lyons.A visitation will be held Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church.
