Janice Cartera Tolentino, age 46, born at 3:07 a.m. on January 10, 1976 and formerly of Talisay City, Neg. Occ., Philippines has gone to be with the Lord at 11:58 a.m. on December 22, 2022 at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She was a batch 1993 graduate of La Consolacion College, Bacolod City and received her Bachelors of Science degree in Commerce from Colegio de San Agustin, Bacolod City. She was a member of Word of Life Ministries in Silay City. She worked as a materials handler at the Millenium Print Group in Durham, North Carolina.
Janice truly loved living life to the fullest through simple pleasures like online selling, chatting and spending time with friends and family, hiking, cooking, baking & most of all dancing. She had an uncanny ability of befriending just about anyone that she met. She was a generous giver and always thought of her family and friends.
She’s a daughter, mother, sister, aunt, partner, friend and beloved daughter of God. She is survived by her parents, Rainerio A. Tolentino and Maria Dolores C. Alivia; son John Vincent Tolentino; sisters Jenny Dwan T. Villar, Jill T. Piper, Johanna C. Tolentino; stepfather Melchor Alivia; niece Julia R. Piper; nephews Jaxon R. Piper, Jaden M. Villar, James M. Villar; brothers-in-law, Richard H. Piper and Michael Villar; and her sweetheart Lawrence Daniels, numerous relatives and friends.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, January 2, 2023 at Glory of God Christian Fellowship with Pastor Adam Simpson officiating. Her family will be receiving friends at the Athens Drive Baptist Church fellowship building right after the service.
