Jean Shearin

Ms. Jean Shearin passed away on March 8, 2022.

Jean was born to the late Millard Alford and Virginia Perry Shearin. Ms. Shearin was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, NC. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University and a PhD from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the Biomedical field. Jean will be dearly missed.

Ms. Shearin is survived by her brother, Wallace Shearin; and sister, Nancy Shuler (Barry).

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
