Jeff Blaine

DURHAM Mr. Sereno Jefferson “Jeff” Blaine, Jr. 77, of Durham, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
Mr. Blaine was born in Fairview, NJ, son of the late Sereno Jefferson Blaine, Sr. and Dorothy Ann Harmeling Blaine. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force. Jeff was a charter bus driver for over 13 years. He was a former member of West Gantt First Baptist Church of Greenville. Jeff was a member of Durham Memorial Baptist Church for 37 years and the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was a member of the Carolina Cruisers and enjoyed going to the car shows and cruise-ins. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by everyone blessed to have known him.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Jo Ellen Blaine; son, Stephen Ronald Blaine and wife, Tracy; daughter, Sharon Ella Blaine Pettersen; sister, Mary Elizabeth Styles and husband, Lee; grandchildren, Mackenzie Pettersen, Timothy Blaine, Harley Blaine, Laura Picou-Thiel and Connor Finkbeiner.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 18, 2016 at 3 p.m. at Durham Memorial Baptist Church. Rev. Ed Denton and Dr. Gerald Goodwin will officiate. Interment will be on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 3 p.m. in the Greenville Memorial Gardens, 7784 Augusta Road in Piedmont, S.C.
