FRAZIER DURHAM Mr. Jerry Linwood Frazier, 73, of 4225 Morton Drive, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 11, 2011 at the Hock Family Pavilion. He was an outstanding husband, father and a part of a dying breed.Mr. Frazier was born in Swansboro to the late Thomas Woodrow and Sarah Frazier. He served in the U. S. Army and retired from the IIC Mechanical Insulators. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Usher, and drove the church bus for 35 years. He is survived by his wife, Pandora Laws Frazier; two daughters, Teresa Crumpler and husband, Tony of Durham and Diane Seymore and fiancé, Kurt Voss of Raleigh; grandchildren, Taylor Salmon, Kristen Seymore, Heather Seymore, Cheryl and Stephen Hall, Heather and Bryan Holloway, Alicia and Brian Morse, Ashley Voss and Adam Voss; one great-grandchild, Ellie Morse.Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, officiated by Dr. Rick Finley. Burial will be in Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be the church deacons, Josh Matthews, Daniel Jackola, Greg Smythers, Wendell McKinney, Brock King, Mike Britton, Doug Lindsey and Craig Lewis. Honorary pallbearers will be James Slaughter, Darrell Slaughter, Ray Ellis, Lawson Roycroft and John Pickens.The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4225 Morton Drive.
