Jerry Lynn Blackburn

DURHAM- Jerry Lynn Blackburn, 52, of Durham, passed away on Friday, February 5, 2016. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Milton Lee Blackburn. Jerry was a truck driver for UPS for over 25 years.
He is survived by his mother, Ruth Blackburn; daughters, Crystal Blackburn and Jessica Sykes and husband Travis; brother, Johnny Blackburn and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Dakota Jones, Gracie Sykes and Skyler Sykes; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 11th at 7pm at Hudson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm, prior to the service at Hudson Funeral Home. Burial will be on Friday, February 12th at 11am at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Steve Street Jr., Johnny Blackburn Jr., Travis Sykes, Elliot Averette, John Holland and Wayne Pope. Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Blackburn Sr.
