Jewel Forbush Tevepaugh

DURHAM- Mrs. Jewel  Marie Forbush Tevepaugh, 68 , of Durham died on Monday, September 9, 2013. She was a native and lifelong resident of Durham. She was the daughter of the late Victor Crawford Forbush and Josephine Wilkins Forbush.  She was a homemaker and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.  She was a caretaker of her parents and worked at the snack bar at Starlite Movie Drive-In. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Dale Tevepaugh, one brother Thomas “Buddy” Forbush.

She is survived by two sons, Roy Tevepaugh of Wake Forest; and Ronnie Tevepaugh of Durham; one daughter, Katie T. Berry of Creedmoor; one sister, Mary Glasgow of Durham; two grandchildren, Joseph Berry and Lauren Tevepaugh. The family would like to thank her special friend Christopher Malm for his care and companionship during her final years.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Ken Finley will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home prior to the service at Woodlawn Memorial Park.  Flowers acceptable or donations can be made to Methodist Children’s Home, 1041 Washington St., Raleigh, NC 27605-1259.
