Jimmy Wayne Brogden, Jr.

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Brogden, Jr., 49, passed away June 8, 2023.

Jimmy was born July 21, 1973, in Durham, NC to Jimmy W. Brogden, Sr. and Deborah Brogden Glenn. He was preceded in death by his son, Cody Brogden.

Jimmy was a Certified Master Auto Body Tech and worked in the automotive field. He enjoyed collecting and racing remote control cars and trucks, as well as drawing. Jimmy was a diehard Tarheel Basketball fan. Above all, he loved the Lord, his family, and his friends. Jimmy will be deeply missed.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Brogden is survived by his stepfather, Doug Glenn; stepmother, Regina Brogden; daughter, Autumn Mae Brogden; brother, Edward “Eddie” Lee Brogden (Stephanie); sister, Angela Denise Brogden (Lee Keck); and other loving family members and friends.

A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday June 12, 2023, at Hudson Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held Tuesday June 13, 2023, at 2 p.m. at the Brogden Family Cemetery.
