Jimmy Lee Woods

DURHAM- Jimmy Lee Woods, 74, of Durham died on Saturday, May 16, 2015. He was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late Willie Lee Woods and Eula Ferguson Woods. After 30 years of dedicated service Jimmy retired from the City of Durham. Jimmy was an Associate Member of American Legion Post #7. He was a great provider to his mother before her passing and will be remembered as a loving son.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his brothers, J.T. Woods and Leon Woods.

He is survived by brother, Earl Woods and wife Kay; sister, Susie Dickerson and husband Roy; sister-in-laws, Linda Smith and husband Tony and Bobbie Woods; numerous nephews and a niece.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. Pastor Tim McCreight will officiate. Active pallbearers will be Scott Dickerson, Dylan Dickerson, Ashley Woods, Brent Woods, Logan Woods and Talmadge Woods.
