John William Carter, II

Durham Mr. John William Carter II, 50, of Durham, died on December 1, 2017.

Mr. Carter was born in Roanoke Rapids, N.C. He served in the U. S. Navy and was employed with Cisco as a Project Coordinator. He was an avid sports fan; loved Duke basketball and the Phillies and Raiders. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hoyle and Betty Carter, and Arthur and Lois Dix.

He is survived by his wife, Cindi S. Carter; his parents, John and Sherry Carter; daughter, Brittany Morgan of New Jersey; son, John Morgan of Durham; step-daughter, Amber Gresham and Rene’ Brickles both of Henderson; brother, Bryan Carter (Cindy) of Raleigh; sister, Gayle Rodriguez (Eddie) of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Lily Gresham; niece, Jessica Capstaff (Chris), and nephews, Michael Holt, Tony Holt, and Brandon Rodriguez (Jenny).

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, from 3 to 6 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.
