John Elmer Ross

DURHAM Mr. John Elmer Ross, 67, of Durham, died on Monday, July 2, 2012.Mr. Ross was a native and lifelong resident of Durham, the son of the late James Lloyd Ross and Julia McDowell Ross. He was a member of Leesville Road Baptist Church. He proudly served in the Job Corps in Idaho. He loved music, especially Country Music.He is survived by his two brothers, Jimmy Ross and Robert Ross and one sister, Kathleen Alexander. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Leesville Road Baptist Church. Rev. Sam Bullington and Rev. Kenneth Forehand will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at his home.
