John Robert Petty

DURHAM Mr. John Robert Petty, 60, of 4900 Glenn Road, died on Monday, May 28, 2012.Mr. Petty was born in Wake County to the late Andrew J. Petty and Frances Brown Petty. He worked for 10 years as a carpenter with King Construction. He is survived by his wife, Madonna Petty; daughter, Michelle Petty; brother, Mark Anthony Petty; sister, Gail B. Deans and a special Aunt, Geraldine Womble.Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park in the Mausoleum. Rev. Jerry Lynch will officiate.The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4900 Glenn Road.
