John Stanley Mason

TIMBERLAKE Mr. John Stanley Mason, 46, of 214 Riverbend Way, died on Sunday, November 24, 2013.
Mr. Mason was employed as an IT Specialist with GFI Software. He loved God and his family. He was a music editor and arranger and loved playing his guitar. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Lee Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Liz Mason; his parents, Janice and Norman Hoffa of Durham; son, John Daniel Mason of Greenville; daughter, Alicia Marie Mason of Timberlake; paternal grandmother, Bertha Mason; maternal grandmother, Velma Dittmer; brother, Christopher “Bear” Hoffa of Clayton; two sisters, Julie Johnson of Rockledge Fla. and Gina Reynolds of Martinsville, Ind.; mother-in-law, Rosemary Nolan of Tampa, Fla.
Memorial services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home. Flowers are acceptable. Online condolences may be made at www.hudsonfuneralhome.com.
