Johnny Glenn Carter

Mr. Johnny Glenn Carter, 75, passed away on August 14^th, 2022.

Johnny was born August 11, 1947, in Durham NC, to the late Johnny Ross and Velcie Glenn Carter. He was a faithful member of Olive Grove Baptist Church and a lifetime resident of Durham. He retired from Newton Instruments. Johnny will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Carter was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Carter.

Mr. Carter is survived by his daughters, Susan Carter (Tom) and Beth Carter (Kevin); sisters, Dale Benedetto (Mike) and Tucker Crawford (Bobby); stepsons, Mike Eubanks (Jacki) and Randy Eubanks; grandchildren, Meaghan (Luke), Cailyn, and Andrew; friend, Mary Avery.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Hudson Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Olive Grove Baptist Church with Pastor Jack Hollowell and Dr. Steve Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Olive Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
