Jordan Blake “J.B.” Bowen

BAHAMA Jordan Blake “J.B.” Bowen, 18, of 109 Vista Del Rio Drive, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017.Jordan was born in Durham. He was a 2016 graduate of Northern High School where he was an All-Conference Lacrosse player and Team Captain. He loved his family and friends and had a beautiful smile, spontaneous and great sense of humor. He was loved by many and never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Roselyn Bowen.He is survived by his mother and step-father, Dana Elliott Jones and Troy Jones of Creedmoor; his father and step-mother, Jeffrey James Bowen and Nicki Bradsher Bowen of Bahama; brothers, Zach Bell, Nick Bell and Chance Bowen all of Bahama; sisters, Sophia Jones, Madison Jones both of Creedmoor, Cassidy Bowen of Bahama; maternal grandparents, Gerald and Polli Elliott of Durham; paternal grandfather, Gerald Bowen; step-maternal grandparents, Larry and Betty Bradsher of Rougemont; step-paternal grandparents, Tommy and Pam Jones of Clarksville, Va.; step-paternal grandmother, Yvonne McConville of Wake Forest and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church. Dr. Rick Finley will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tripp Carrington, Eric Lassiter, Devonte Dixon, Jonathan Tuck, Keriyon Allen, Phillip Horton, Allen Young and Jesiah Vereene. Honorary pallbearers will be Coach Sliwa, Tayler Hancock, Eric Hartman, Walter Winfrey, Jr., Joe Williams and Jake Beauchaine.The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 12 to 2 p.m., prior to the services at the church and other times at the parent’s homes.
