Joseph Edwyn Moore

DURHAM Mr. Joseph Edwyn Moore, 83, of Durham, died on Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
Mr. Moore was born in Skippers, Virginia, the son of the late James Edward Moore and Louise Chambliss Moore. He served in the U. S. Navy as a Seabee and retired from Pifer Industry. He loved fishing, playing guitar, square dancing and bluegrass music. He especially loved his family and will be remembered as a loving and wonderful Husband, Dad and Grandpa. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Alease Reid, Jennie Whitfield and Lilly Ferrell.
He is survived by his wife, Libby Moore; two sons, Joseph Moore Jr. and wife Carol, Michael Moore and wife, Mary; daughter, Angie Moore; sister, Mary Evelyn Seay; grandchildren, Luke and wife, Tiffany, Joshua and wife, Victoria, Logan, Jacob, Jonathan, Levi Moore; great-grandchildren, Logan and Lola, his special buddies, Lindsey, Micah, Caroline and Lucas.
