CREEDMOOR- Mr. Joseph Ray Freeman, 76, passed away Friday, January 11, 2019.Mr. Freeman was born January 4, 1943 to John and Minnie Freeman in Franklinton, NC. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Mr. Freeman’s life was filled with many years of adventure and travel. He acquired many friends along the way and all that knew him were truly blessed. Mr. Freeman lived life to the fullest with no regrets.Mr. Freeman is preceded in death by his parents, John and Minnie Freeman.Mr. Freeman is survived by his son, Joseph Todd Freeman (Tammy) of Wake Forest, NC; daughters, Crystal Womble of Durham, NC, Karen Freeman Thompson of Creedmoor, NC; brother, A.H. Freeman of Stem, NC, J.W. Freeman of Durham, NC; sister, Ruby Pearce of Wake Forest, NC; grandchildren, Lauren Thompson Mann, Haleigh Thompson, Lindsey Freeman Maguire, Joseph Andrew Womble, Anna Freeman, Allyson Freeman; great-grandchildren, Blaine Mann, Briley Mann, Joseph Womble, Easton Womble.Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Hudson Funeral Home.
