Josephine Harrison Adams

Mrs. Josephine Harrison Adams, 93, of Raleigh, passed away Tuesday March 18, 2025, at Treyburn Rehabilitation Center in Durham. 

She was born October 12, 1931, to the late Elmon and Vidette Powell Harrison. Mrs. Adams worked at CPL as a stenographer for many years and was a member of Mt. Herman Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, eating out, sewing, gardening and absolutely loved flowers.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, Lewis Adams, and brother, James Carey. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Retzlaff of the home, and brother, Kenneth Harrison (Dianne) of Sanford, NC.

A graveside service will be held Monday March 24, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Brier Creek Memorial Gardens, officiated by Rev. Tim Wheeler.

Flowers are acceptable.

The Adams family is under the care of Hudson Funeral Home.
