Juanita Dillehay Pendergraft

DURHAM- Mrs. Juanita Dillehay Pendergraft, 93, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017 at Duke Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Pendergraft was born November 8, 1924 to the late Robert and Sadie Dillehay in Durham, NC. She worked 37 years for American Tobacco Company where she retired in 1981. Mrs. Pendergraft was a member of Northside Senior Citizens and a member of Plainview Baptist Church.
Mrs. Pendergraft is preceded in death her husband, Claude Wallace Pendergraft; nephew, James Lee Dillehay.
Mrs. Pendergraft is survived by her great-nephews, Bryan Keith Dillehay (Robin), Matthew Lee Dillehay (Chelsea) and great niece Addison.
Pallbearers will be Charles Taylor, Roger Mishue, Dewitt Rice, Doug Wyatt, David Pennell and Jasper Taylor, Jr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Doyle Griffin, Lewis Newcomb, George Woods and Bunny Finch.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at Plainview Baptist Church, 5200 Cheek Road, Durham, NC 27704. Officiating will be Rev. Doug Nally. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held an hour prior from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at Plainview Baptist Church, 5200 Cheek Road, Durham, NC 27704
