ANDREWSDURHAM Mrs. Judith Ann Blackwell Andrews, 65, of 4949 Cheek Road, died on Sunday, February 19, 2012.Mrs. Andrews was a native of Durham. She retired after 37 years from Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Claims Representative. She attended Peace Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Odell Blackwell. She loved to craft.She is survived by her husband of 27 years Richard E. Andrews; her mother, Dorothy Blackwell of Durham; two daughters, Susan Carter-Hainline and Beth Carter Copley, both of Durham; step daughter, Lesa Kendrick of Cedar Grove; stepsons, Michael Andrews and Greg Andrews both of Hillsborough; one brother, Karl Blackwell of Franklinton; 3 grandchildren and 7 step-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Peace Church at 6114 Russell Road, Durham, 27712. Dr. James Banks will officiate. Graveside services will follow at 4 p.m.at Efland United Methodist Church Cemetery on Brookhollow Road.The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 4949 Cheek Road.
