Judy Louise Campbell

Mrs. Judy Louise Emory Campbell, 76, passed away September 6, 2024, in her home. Mrs. Campbell was born January 7, 1948, to the late Arge Methord Emory and Evelyn L Emory in Durham, NC. Judy loved her children and was known for her devotion to church where she played piano and was a den leader for her kids’ Cub Scout Troop. She loved the beach and fishing with her father, husband, and children. After working for over 20 years at Duke University, she worked another 20 years in pharmaceuticals at Glaxo. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. 

Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Campbell; her son Michael Wayne Campbell and parents, Arge and Evelyn Emory.

Mrs. Campbell is survived by her sons Brian Patrick Campbell (Mindy) and Chris Campbell (Kristin); brother, Joe Emory; grandchildren Angelica Campbell, Lennon Campbell, Tristan Rogers, Emma Rogers, Chase Campbell, Haley Campbell, and Parker Campbell; niece, Paige Emory and other loving family members and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, September 15, 2024 at Maplewood Cemetery, 1621 Duke University Rd., Durham, NC 27701.  The Rev. Hugh O'Shields will officiate.
