Kara Allison Clark & Aalyiah Clarke

Kara Allison Clark, 33, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at Duke University Hospital.

Kara was born September 17, 1987 to Mark and Gail Clark in Durham, NC. She graduated in 2006 from Nash Rocky Mount Middle College High School. Kara enrolled in classes at Vance Granville Community college and was accepted in 2007 dental assisting class at Alamance Community College. She was a member of RTP Community Church and an active member of the Bonfire Home Prayer Meetings, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Kara was an extremely devoted mother to her son, Carter who was her whole world.

Kara was extremely loyal to people she loved and cared for. You always knew where you stood with her. Kara enjoyed getting a sun tan and going to the lake and beach. Riding four-wheelers was a favorite pass time when she wasn’t visiting or talking to her friends on the phone.

Kara is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Valencia and Wayne Hutchins; paternal grandparents, Rebecca and Tom Clark.

Kara is survived by her son, Carter Clark; her parents, Mark and Gail Clark; brother, Mark Clark; sister, Jill Clark; fiancé, Daniel Clarke; and several favorite cousins, uncles and aunts.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Hudson Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Devon Blanton. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
