Karen Best Sherow

CREEDMOOR Mrs. Karen Best Sherow, 55, of 1640 Birch Drive, died on Sunday, September 30, 2012.Karen was a native of Durham. She graduated from Durham High School in 1975 and was a former employee of Durham Regional Hospital. She was of the Baptist faith. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Hydra S. Best and her daughter, Amy Hales.She is survived by her husband, Wayne Sherow; her mother, Mildred B. Best and a son, Jonathan A. Weary.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Chapel, officiated by Rev. Hugh O’Shields. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Hudson Funeral Home and other times at the home, 1640 Birch Drive.
