Kathy Mangum Fulcher

DURHAM- Mrs. Kathy Mangum Fulcher, 70, peacefully went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, March 30, 2021.

Mrs. Fulcher was born September 1, 1950 to the late Clarence and Myrtle Mangum in Durham, NC. She was a manager with Sears for 38 years. Mrs. Fulcher was a member of Olive Branch Baptist Church. She was very strong in her faith in Jesus Christ. Mrs. Fulcher loved going to the beach, especially Emerald Isle, NC and she loved her dog, Mitzi. She was a loving care giver to Frank. Mrs. Fulcher will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt and loved by all that knew her.

Mrs. Fulcher is preceded in death by parents, Clarence and Myrtle Mangum; brother, Jerry Mangum; brother-in-law, Eddie Wood.

Mrs. Fulcher is survived by her husband of 48 years, Frankie Fulcher; sister, Nancy Wood; sister-in-law, Donna Mangum; nieces, Pam Murray,  and Tresca Chambers (Bruce); nephews, Randy Wood (Renee) and Todd Mangum (Jennifer) and several loving great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Todd Mangum, Hugh Edwards, Bruce Chambers, Duane Delay, Kevin Murray, Brendan Murray and Chase Murray.

A visitation will be held an hour prior from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2021 at Olive Branch Baptist Church. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Tim Wheeler. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Flowers are acceptable.
